The role

[ What you'll do ]
Mechanics keep the fleet ready. You'll diagnose and repair heavy equipment and trucks, handle preventive maintenance, and make field calls when a machine goes down on site.
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical and undercarriage systems
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and trucks
- Make field repairs with the service truck when needed
- Track parts, fluids and repair records
- Keep the shop clean, organized and safe
[ What we're looking for ]
- Three or more years repairing heavy equipment or diesel trucks
- Own tools and a valid driver's license; CDL a plus for the service truck
- Welding and fabrication skills a plus
- Able to lift 50 lb and work in shop and outdoor conditions
